Residential Care

Residential care is a suitable form of long-term specialist care that is designed for residents to get the most out of their stay by utilising the many services and amenities on offer. Residential care, as the name implies, allows residents to treat our nursing home as their own and go about their daily lives as normal, socialising and forming close bonds and feeling a true sense of community.

Residential care is beneficial for those who are able to live independently but may require some assistance with daily tasks. Those in the residential care unit can enjoy fantastic cuisine and an active lifestyle while all housekeeping duties are taken care of by our Cardiff care home team.

A customised care plan will be developed to ensure the correct care is being received. If care needs were to change over time, we can reassess a resident to see whether nursing care or dementia care would be more appropriate.

Dementia Care

Our purpose-built care home offers specialist dementia care in Cardiff. Dementia is a long-term health condition that affects people in a variety of ways, but most commonly impacts mental functions such as speech and memory. With the right level of dementia care and support, individuals living with dementia can continue to live full of opportunity and excitement.

We strive to not only meet our residents’ needs but their overall well-being and help to maintain their independence as much as possible. Our Activities Coordinators work hard to provide activities and trips out of the care home that is inclusive for all residents, no matter their abilities.

Respite Care

Respite care is a form of short-term care which allows people to recharge from their personal circumstances. Examples include being a full-time carer for a loved one or for someone who needs some time to fully recover from a hospital stay. You are guaranteed to feel back to usual yourself after being in the capable hands of our experienced and dedicated team.

Future residents can use respite as a way of trialling a care home before committing to the permanent move. This type of care can last from a few weeks to a few months depending on the individual, and our nursing teams will always follow a tailored care plan to meet the needs of the person.
