A Day in the Life of Audrey Tyler

My name is Audrey Tyler, I am 21+VAT.

When I was a child I travelled around a lot due to the fact that my father was in the army and always took the family with him when travelling. My best memory was watching the ships go off to Dunkirk, I remember feeling really excited watching this.

When I first came to stay at Tŷ Llandaff I was pretty reserved and anxious about coming out of my room and meeting people. Fast forward to now and I am Tŷ Llandaff’s social butterfly. Each time a new resident comes in I will always go out of my way to have a chat with them and make them feel welcome. I always get involved in all activities and encourage everyone else to join in too.

Some of the staff and residents refer to me as a mother hen, that is because I’ve always taken people under my wing and looked after them ever since a small child. As long as my day involves multiple cups of tea and chats with everyone I am a very happy lady.
