Celebrating Recent Success at Tŷ Llandaff

It has been an exciting time at Tŷ Llandaff recently as we have had plenty to celebrate over the past month! From award nominations to special celebrations, our team and residents have been embracing achievements, recognising hard work, and enjoying a little bit of armchair travel along the way.

One of the biggest highlights was our success in the Cardiff Life Awards, where Tŷ Llandaff made it to the finals in the Health category. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and compassion of our team, who work tirelessly to provide the highest standards of care. But that’s not all – we were also named one of the Top 20 Care Homes in Wales by Carehome.co.uk, which is an achievement based on the glowing feedback from residents and their families. These awards highlight the quality of care, warmth, and support that make Tŷ Llandaff such a special place to live.

We are also incredibly proud of Nasher, our wonderful Senior Carer, who was named a finalist in our company’s Emerging Talent awards. Nasher’s dedication and kindness shine through in everything she does, and we are eagerly awaiting the final results. No matter the outcome, she is already a winner in our eyes!

As well as celebrating our achievements, we took time to honour International Women’s Day by shining a spotlight on some of the incredible women who make Tŷ Llandaff the true home that it is. Our team is filled with talented, compassionate, and hardworking individuals who go above and beyond every day, and we made sure to take a moment to recognise them and our wonderful residents.

Of course, no update would be complete without mentioning our resident globetrotter, Terry! His latest adventure took him to Lanzarote, where he soaked up the sunshine and explored somewhere new. There’s simply no stopping him – we can’t wait to see where he’ll head off to next!
