Cosmeston Lakes Visit

Residents at Cosmeston Lake

This week, residents at our care home in Cardiff enjoyed a visit to Cosmeston Lakes, a local beauty spot in the Vale of Glamorgan.

We were very fortunate to have a lovely autumn afternoon, which allowed residents to enjoy a walk, chat with one another, and feed the birds.

Cosmeston Lakes is a site of special scientific interest as the lake boasts rare plants and animal species, which our residents thoroughly loved looking out for and admiring. It was a great, fun, and informative day out for both our residents and staff who attended, further strengthening the relationships within our home.

It was our residents who had chosen a visit to this local beauty spot and place of interest, and we believe it is important for our residents to have choice and freedom in how they spend their days.

We listen closely to the needs and interests of our residents and go above and beyond to provide them with a variety of opportunities where they can continue their hobbies, get out into the local community, and pursue new interests.

If you would like to find out more about the activities and excursions we hold for our residents at Tŷ Llandaff, or would like further information about daily life at our care home in Cardiff, then please get in touch with our friendly team.
