Ty Llandaff Staff Member Wins ‘Emerging Talent’ Award

Joseph Creedy Winning Emerging Talent of Year Award

We are pleased to report that Joseph from our care team recently won the award for 'Emerging Talent' at the groups' care awards evening held in March. The awards night was hosted by former Paralympian Danny Crates and this specific award was sponsored by ChitChat Marketing.

This award was to be handed to an individual who is either new to the sector or who has grown in their role to be a shining example of the care home. Joseph was able to show evidence of having:

  • Achieved something beyond their normal role requirements/comfort zone
  • Made a demonstrable difference since commencing their role
  • Been a positive example to colleagues within the home

The winner of this award was described to be "relatively new to the world of care and is already a favourite amongst the residents and staff for his dedication, commitment and passion and infectious personality. He has taken to the role as Care Assistant as though he’s been doing it all his life and his daily mission is to provide amazing care to leave all residents smiling. Despite personal challenges with his eyesight this person has such ambition to develop his knowledge and skills and to be a future leader."

Joseph was unable to attend the awards night and so coworker Keyly collected the award on his behalf.

We look forward to seeing Joseph progress further within his role and to continue making a difference in our residents' lives.

Feel free to get in touch with our helpful team who will be happy to answer any questions you may have about our care home or if you are interested in booking a home visit.
