Welcoming Four Generations to our Celebration Room
We are so lucky to have a dedicated, private celebration room that is used for reuniting families. These celebrations often involve special menus consisting of a choice of sandwiches, cake, tea etc provided by our in-house Chef for a celebratory occasion such as a birthday or anniversary.
Our private dining room is called the Cwtch room - which means "hug" in Welsh, and has a translation as "safe place" in English. As the name suggests, the room has the specific purpose of providing the opportunity for residents and loved ones to spend some much needed time together within a private and pleasant setting.
Four generations spent a few hours enjoying afternoon tea for Shirley’s birthday. Shirley got to meet her great-granddaughter for the first time on the 7th of April. It was such a special moment for Shirley and her family and we are so pleased to have been able to make it happen and create memories to be cherished by all.
