At Tŷ Llandaff Care Home, we are dedicated to ensuring that our residents are content and fulfilled in their lives. We are happy to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment for our residents; our dedicated Activity Coordinator ensures that there is always something fascinating going on for them to enjoy, including our regular and engaging Arts & Crafts sessions.

Arts & Crafts FAQs

Our arts & crafts workshops take place on a regular basis and usually last a couple hours at a time. Every week, new schedules and activities are organised, ensuring that residents are continually engaged and being creative as well as enjoying the social aspect it brings.

Our residents in the past have participated in painting, baking, flower arranging, and creating seasonal decorations for our house. Our calendar is packed with activities that allow everyone to fully appreciate each season and holiday throughout the year, from making Christmas cards to planting poppies for Remembrance Day. Residents can work on their own masterpiece while being surrounded by other residents and staff; benefiting from social interaction that naturally occurs during each session.

All of the activities and materials that residents participate in and use during their time here are included in the weekly care home fee, so they can relax and make use of the fun opportunities that come their way.

Your friends and family can get involved as much as they’d like to. In fact, the more the merrier. Creating things with your friends and family is a fantastic way to bring everyone closer together, make new memories, and have a lot of fun.
